First Birthday, alternative to cake smash

A while ago a customer contacted me with a request. She wanted to mark her little girl's first birthday but did not like the idea of a cake smash. I wasn't too sure at first as I usually just do cake smashes but I love a challenge and I love being creative.

I sat down and started thinking. What could we do? Maybe outdoors, customer mentioned balloons...and then and idea struck me. The lovely customer and I bounced ideas between us and finalised plans and outfit for the session. The result is absolutely stunning!
